Summary:
Responsible for the planning and execution of policies and procedures relating to staff acquisition, retention, mentoring, training, and other HR functions that support the attainment of the company's goals and objectives.

Works with the management team to select skilled applicants to fill any open positions.
Manages the recruiting process by screening resumes, interviewing, and background checks.
Prepares and extends job offers.
Performs reference and background checks and handles salary and benefits negotiations of new hires.
Completes all required paperwork and updates personnel systems relating to new hires, change of address, terminations, and salary adjustments.
Assists with the decision making and coordination of transfers and promotions.
Maintains all documents and reports related to Worker's Compensation claims.
Maintains various personnel related records and files such as vacation/sick, disciplinary action, reviews, and 401k.
Acts as communication conduit to ensure that the company is in legal compliance with local and federal labor laws.
Responsible for managing Health and Safety Program to ensure that all employees have a safe environment in which to work in.
Enhances employee and management performance by identifying training and development needs; offering and evaluating appropriate training and orientation programs.
Manages international recruiting, obtains visas, and secures housing.
Identifies and develops new areas for foreign and domestic recruitment.
Coordinates annual performance appraisals and wage adjustments with department heads.
Responsible for managing employee recognition programs.
Assists in the overall design and planning of compensation programs, policies, and procedures.
Responsible for administering all recruitment advertisements.
Respond to questions from employees regarding Human Resource programs, policies, and procedures.
Attend to all Employee Relations issues and investigations in a timely manner.
Conducts exit interviews and ensures that all related paperwork is completed.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
Attend weekly manager meetings.
Attend job fairs, conferences, and local HR meetings.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
Position requires a college degree or equivalent and at least 2 years' experience in Human Resource Management.
Must have excellent organizational skills and knowledge of standard filing systems with excellent verbal and written skills.
Knowledge of or experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Internet.
Must handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
