Non-Exempt POSITION SUMMARY The incumbent is responsible for providing customer service by providing exceptional customer service by handling inquiries, processing reservations and payments, assisting guest with their needs.
This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, excellent communication skills, and a friendly demeanor.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DUTIES Greet guests and provide information about RV park facilities, services, and local attractions; Responding to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person in timely and professional manner; Register guests and assign campsites based on availability and specific requests; Collect fees and deposits, handle cash and credit card transactions, and maintain accurate records; Monitor RV park activity and enforce park policies and regulations; Assist with maintenance and cleaning of RV park facilities; Coordinate with other departments and staff to ensure smooth operations of the RV park; Respond to guest complaints or concerns and resolve any issues in a timely manner; Maintain cleanliness and organization of the RV park, including the campsites, common areas, and surrounding grounds; Possess the ability to react productively to other duties as reasonably assigned QUALIFICATIONS Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with guests in a professional and friendly manner.
Basic computer skills and ability to learn and understand reservation system.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and work in outdoor weather conditions.
EDUCATION High school diploma or equivalent required.
EXPERIENCE Experience in customer service and cash handling preferred GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledge of APM marina services and amenities.
Skills which allow for the tactful resolution of guest problems or concerns.
Knowledge or ability to be trained in fire extinguisher operation.
Knowledge or ability to be trained in ISO/EMS awareness.
Knowledge or ability to be trained in employee orientation.
Knowledge or ability to be trained in hazard communication Knowledge or ability to be trained in hazardous materials response/respiratory protection.
Knowledge or ability to be trained in emergency response.
Knowledge or ability to be trained in recyclable materials.
Knowledge or ability to be trained in blood borne pathogen awareness.

WORKING CONDITIONS The performance of stated functions and duties may occur in, but are not limited to:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands of the position may include, but are not limited to sitting or standing for extended periods of time.

ENGLISH PROFICIENCY It is important that the incumbent be able to communicate effectively in English including speaking, understanding, reading, and writing for the purpose of general interactions with staff, guests and customers.
